With March comes the end of the 2nd Trimester, a long Spring Break, and of course all the beauty that comes with Spring. Our class has started a Science unit on Plants that we will follow leading up to Spring Break. We will be reading stories about plants and how plants grow; we've begun our terrariums where we are going to try and grow our own plants; and we will also be exploring some other fun activities with seeds and leaves. If you have plants or a garden at home, take your child out with you and show them how to care for them. Ask your child to tell you the different parts of the plant, and how it helps the plant to grow. Learning more about the nature around us all is really fun, and very important in teaching the children how to preserve and care for the things that we need to help us survive!! Enjoy the coming March and remember we are 3 short weeks to another long vacation!
